SPECIFICITY

The main objective of this study program is to deliver knowledge and specific skills needed for effective management at tourism global market. During the lectures students will be introduced to theoretical and practical aspects of the management of tourists attractions, including World Heritage Sites. Issues of animation in tourism and ski resorts management will offered. All courses are conducted in English, by both local and external professors.

ADDITIONAL FACTS ABOUT SPECIALIZATION

All Erasmus students are more than welcome.

The specialization was created in response to suggestions from potential students, Erasmus participants and graduates.

Graduates of the Tourism and recreation have found work all over the world. They work as guides in the Yucatan Peninsula (Playa del Carmen) in Mexico, with airlines (Emirates, Oman Air) and in many other places. They indicate that the International Tourism Management specialization in English will be a good starting point to work in the global tourism market.

Management competences, predisposing to work on the global tourism market:
• on the boards of companies from the event industry,
• on the boards of tourist attractions and ski resorts,
• in the management of hotels (including hotel chains) and other accommodation facilities,
• international tourist organizations,
• running own international business, including start-ups.
